The Nietzcshe Classes

I read The Neitzcshe Classes by Beringae was a nice little treat! I finished it yesterday, and enjoyed it for the most part. I'm taking Intro to Philosophy currently, and just read The Gay Science so this was really interesting to find! I almost want to school my professor on fanfiction and Dramione just so he could effectively check out this fic!

Warnings: None listed, but your usual angst, drama, maybe some dubcon. Oh, and character death

Length: 15 chapters, 45K. Not very long, but big for this number of chapters I suppose. 

Time Period: Post War/Hogwarts

How Good?: Pretty good. 7/10

And the Smut?: Beautiful, but not the focus of the story.

This is very... questionable. When I finished it, I didn't really feel like it was actually done, but not for the normal reasons. It wasn't as if there was this big dramatic  turmoil left unresolved, or a conflict that took a load of chapters, only for it to be scrambled closed hastily. I don't really know how to describe this.

The first thing I thought of after the last chapter was "that was dry." It wasn't full of pain, or passion, and Hermione was COMPLETELY hung up on Ron's death. Throughout the entire thing. And Draco is so detached he should be in an asylum. Practically everything he says is because he's lashing out. Well, maybe not...

You'd think that with Hermione in mourning, and Draco having everything (his parents, his status) taken away from him, that there would be a hot, dramatic, clash of minds and bodies once the initial hate and disgust wore off. But the only connection is the sex, and even in that Hermione is still imagining Ron hating her for it. 

Sigh. This is still wonderfully written, edited, and a plot that I've never read before. I love the quotes, and the themes of each chapter. I loved that. I guess I'm just so used to the big hot messes that I usually read that this was sort of different. But not in the refreshing way.

Her Eyes Closed, She Sleeps

Alright, so this was a stretch for me. This was pretty different than anything I have ever read, morally and ethically, but if I can't be sinful in my addiction, then what can I be sinful in?! Confusion is good for the world, and this story is hot. It's only wrong if you think it is :)

Her Eyes Closed, She Sleeps by Winnett was a surprise. I read it today in class, and it was a great fix...to get me jolly in the middle of a lecture! Oh goodness! That was something, and it was sort of wrong to be reading it. Violations: First Person, Ron and Ginny. But the first person was shared, so I was clued in on both characters feelings and such...

This story is currently nominated for Best Dub-Con and Best Het. Its pretty hot. Really random, but its a good read. I'd suggest reading it in the privacy of your bedroom before bed. It will really get you thinking (I read it just before a quiz in lecture and my mind was racing!)

Kudos to Winnett, I've never read anything by you but woo! Good one! It's pretty hard to deliver something, like something with such a BIG idea behind it so gracefully. YAY!

**Not dropped off the earth!

Alright everyone, I did not drop off the planet! I have been around, reading and such. But my newest development is... I started my own fanfiction! At AFFN it's called Leave Notes On My Pillow, and its really... just an idea. But it's growing into something more! It's as if, once I write a chapter, and post it, it's as if I didn't even write it. I don't know why... I ought not say too much about the story on here, don't want to give anything away, but I will say that there are many different pairings. How they all are involved is still debatable, but yeah. 

Oy, and I started semester classes so, that's slowing things down a bit too! Oy! 

**Recent Reads

I just finished what was posted on Bound by Duty by SoftObsidian74. It is pretty rough, beautifully written. So nicely written that I skipped over quite a few of my rules to get through it. Its a moresome with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco. Its like, insanity. But it works! And its really exciting! I have heard good things about a different story called Some Blonde Fool, so I think I'm going to start that tonight!
